In January 1996, upon invitation by France Alstom corporation and winning the international construction bidding, NEPC participated in the boiler (2x1990t/h) erection of Sual Power Station-the biggest thermal power plant in Philippines. The work quantity comprises 28,000 tons of steel structure, about 50,000 pressure bearing welds. The project duration was scheduled for 17months. NEPC completed the project in only 15 months under the concerted efforts of the construction personnel. The hydrotests for both boilers passed only in one attempt. Project completion and hand-over for both boilers were achieved on Sep.12, 1998 and Dec. 18, 1998 respectively. NEPC was highly praised by the client for the pace and quality of the project and NEPC won good reputation in the Southeast Asian region. The project set a good example for the successful cooperation in the international electric power market.

Turkey EREN(1+1)X600MW Supercritical Coal Fired Power Station
(2008-2011)

       Turkey EREN(l+l)x600MW Supercritical Coal Fired Power Station erection project comprises 2 units of China-made 600MW Supercritical Coal Fired units, which is the first time that 600MW supercritical coal-fired unit exported from China. NEPC undertook the supervision of civil works and the erection of both units. NEPC complied with the contract strictly and mobilized Chinese human and material resources effectively to ensure the fulfillment of all the milestones on schedule during the construction. NEPC got the good comment from the owner and the general contractor through hard work, and also set a good example and offered experience in overseas electric power construction. The project was honored with The Year 2012 China Construction Engineering Luban Prize.

Laos Hongsa 3x626MW Coal Fired Power Plant Project
(2011-2015)

       Laos Hongsa 3x626MW Coal Fired Power Plant Project is a Mine Mouth Power Project developed by EGAT, Banpu Power Limited and EDL. NEPC undertook the civil works for three units and erection works for Unit l & 2. In 2015, Unit l & 2 were handed over for commercial operation at a high quality level and achieved the goal of putting two units into operation in one year.

Project Evaluation:

      Laos Hongsa Power Plant was better than other similar projects in other Asian countries, no matter construction speed or technological level of project quality.

  
SUMMIT BIBIYANA Phase II 344.908MW Gas Turbine Combined Cycle Power Station
（2012-2015） 

       Bangladesh BIBIYANA Phase II 1x344.908MW Gas Turbine Combined Cycle Power Station Project is the private investment on power project with the largest installed capacity in Bangladesh. NEPC has undertaken projects including engineering design, purchasing, producing,supply, marine transport, onland transportation, delivery, installation, erection, construction, test, insurance, commissioning, completion, start-up and handover.

       The actual construction period is seven months earlier than the contract completion date, which makes a new record in the history of Bangladesh power station construction. The project has won The Year 2015 Best Power Generating Award in Bangladesh.

 Mongolia Amgalan Heat Only Boiler Plant and its Circuit Thermal Lines and Networks Project
(2013-2014)

       The project includes 3 x 116MW hot water boilers, 910m heating network, 1km transmission line, re-powering of 110kV Amgalan substation and 110/l0kV substation inside Amgalan heat only boiler plant. It was honored with "The Year 2014 Best Energy Infrastructure Project" issued by Mongolia Energy and "Welding Engineering Certificate" issued by Mongolia welding association.

 Philippines Misamis 3 x 135 MW Coal Fired Power Plant EPC Project

       The project is located in Mindanao, Philippines with three sets 420 t/h CFB boilers and three sets 135MW units of ALSTOM. Philippines Misamis 3x135M Coal-fired Power Plant is the biggest power plant in Mindanao Island of Philippines.

On the afternoon of September 22, 2016 L.T., Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte attended the inauguration celebration of Misamis 3x135MW coal fired power plant EPC project undertaken by NEPC and delivered a speech.

Project Evaluation:

       Philippines Misamis Power Plant has the best units performance and construction speed compared with other similar type power plants in Philippines.

MARSH wrote to the financing bank in the risk assessment report, "the contractor of Misamis power plant is an experienced EPC contractor and major equipment supplier, who brings few risk of loss due to design or technical reason. The superior quality of project and excellent security measures, environment and safety policy standards conform to high-level project management procedure established in the world."

Bangladesh Payra 2×660MW Ultra-Supercritical Coal Fired Power Plant EPC Project

       On March 29, 2016 L.T., Mr. Cai Ming, Chairman & President of NEPG attended the EPC contract signing ceremony for Payra 2 x 660MW coal fired power plant held in Dhaka, capital of Bangladesh and signed the contract. The signing of this project opens a new era for NEPC to undertake international EPC project.
