On April 12, concrete form for the foundation of HRSG and bypass chimney of the Meghnaghat phase III 588.31mw combined cycle power station project in Bangladesh contracted by GE and NEPC was successfully completed at 20:40 local time, with a total of 780 cubic meters of concrete poured.
The foundation of HRSG is the first mass concrete pouring building in the whole plant. Before pouring, according to the relevant construction standards, the project department, together with Ge, OE and other relevant parties, has carried out joint inspection for many times. Before the country’s shutdown due to Covid-19, the preparation work before concrete pouring has been carried out step by step, and the relevant plans have been formulated to ensure the continuous pouring work. During the concrete pouring, the managers and the labors worked together to solve all kinds of problems in time to have the concrete pouring construction be completed smoothly and on schedule.
